By the decision of the government, the regulation on the provision and redistribution of grants to students in higher education institutions was approved.
According to the regulation, applicants for an education grant must have a GPA indicator of 3.5 or higher based on their academic performance in the current academic year. Students whose performance is below this indicator are not allowed to participate in the tiered redistribution of the education grant, and the grant place remains vacant.
An opportunity to register online on the official website of the higher education institution and to upload documents substantiating their achievements will be created for applicants for the education grant.
The academic performance indicators of applicants for the education grant will be proportionately evaluated on an 80-point scale, where the GPA indicator is determined by multiplying it by the number “16”.
The social activity indicator of applicants for the education grant will be evaluated on a 20-point scale, where the result calculated based on the evaluation criteria is determined by dividing it by the number “5”.
In the context of the designated education grant places, priority will be given to the academic performance indicator of applicants who have shown the same result within the competition limit. If the same result is determined in the performance indicator, test examinations from the specialty subjects passed during the semester will be conducted for these applicants.
Based on the decision of the Council of the higher education institution, the list of students receiving the education grant will be published on the official website of the higher education institution by August 25 every year.
