The Republic of Karakalpakstan reported an explosion of a MAN truck in the Tortkol district. This was reported by the Emergency Situations Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
It is noted that on March 21, around 13:50, in the "Gulistan" MCA area of the Tortkol district, an explosion occurred as a result of welding works carried out on the fuel tank of a MAN brand truck. As a result, MAN and Ford brand vehicles were completely damaged, and the rear tires of a DAF brand vehicle were damaged by the fire.
It is reported that as a result of the incident, two citizens born in 1998 and 1980, residing in the Tortkol district, received injuries and were hospitalized in the district medical association. There were no fatalities. The fire has been completely extinguished. Material damage will be determined during the investigation.
