At today's press conference, it was announced that interest-free education loans will be allocated for the next academic year to students of certain categories with an assimilation index of 3.5 and above it was stated.
As is known, the practice of redistributing state grant quotas in a stratified manner has been introduced in higher education institutions. It is noted that from now on, socially active students with a high assimilation index studying in the second and higher courses will be offered education grants in full and partial forms.
Additionally, additional opportunities have been created for students of certain categories by the National Agency for Social Protection and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
Depending on their assimilation index, students in this category can benefit from two types of grants. Through the first type of grant, their contract payment is fully covered by the State budget, while in the second type of grant, a certain part of the contract sum is covered by the funds of financially independent higher education institutions.
Furthermore, for the applicants in this category, up to an additional 10 percent of grants are allocated besides the state grant quota. Applicants who have achieved results above 80 percent of the entry score will have the opportunity to be admitted through these grants
