The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Almaty on an official visit here.
The leader of our state was welcomed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. An honor guard was arrayed in honor of the Uzbek leader, and the flags of both countries were raised.
Today, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will hold an informal meeting. The agenda includes expanding practical cooperation in trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture and water management sectors, as well as continuing active inter-regional connections and cultural-humanitarian exchange.
The state leaders will also exchange views on international politics and regional cooperation.
