An attorney who offered a bribe to a judge in exchange for the satisfaction of a complaint regarding a criminal case was arrested in the Surkhandarya region.
As reported here, an attorney was detained for offering a $1000 USD bribe to a judge (the reporter on the criminal case) in exchange for satisfaction of an investigatory complaint regarding a criminal case concerning Sh.H. (found guilty by the first instance court under part 4 "a" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, with the verdict upheld by the appellate instance).
The attorney, acting as the legal representative of the civil plaintiff and despite explanations of the lawful consideration of the investigatory complaint, offered a bribe again, leading to the judge's report and a subsequent operation by the authorized body, resulting in his arrest with material evidence.
