A 10th grade student from school No. 23 in Uchkurgan district, Namangan region, while driving a Cobalt car belonging to his father, caused a traffic accident.
According to the report by the regional Traffic Safety Department, this road traffic accident resulted in the student hitting a 4th grade pupil of the same school. The young boy died in the hospital.
The boy driving the car's father was in the Russian Federation at the time. That day, his mother was not at home either.
"We ended up being the cause of that boy's death. Forgive me first and foremost," says the boy’s father.
In relation to the case, the Uchkurgan district Investigation Department has initiated a criminal case against the minor under part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code. Investigations are currently underway.
