At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will be in Samarkand on April 23-24.
The upcoming discussions will focus on strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, expanding multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the political, inter-parliamentary, trade-economic, transport-communications, and cultural-humanitarian fields.
They will also exchange views on urgent issues of regional and international significance.
