This was announced by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, during a press conference following his visit to Uzbekistan and negotiations with the republic's leadership.
According to TASS, answering a question about the formats of Central Asia - Russian Federation and Central Asia - European Union, the Minister emphasized that cooperation in such formats can only be mutually beneficial and must be based on agreements satisfying all participants.
"We are strongly opposed to politicizing the processes of cooperation, introducing ideological elements related to attempts by one or another group of countries to establish dominance in other geopolitical spaces," he said.
