Kilauea, considered one of the world's most dangerous and active volcanoes, has awoken again. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), this volcano located on the Big Island of Hawaii is showing strong eruptions, reports "Zamon.uz".

Experts have observed lava fountains reaching heights from 50 to 100 meters. Additionally, significant changes in the duration of eruptions have been noted. While in December 2024, the eruptions lasted only 13 hours, they are now continuing non-stop for up to eight days.

Kilauea volcano, situated at an elevation of 1250 meters, has been the focus of geologists for many years. The recent activity necessitates the strengthening of safety measures.
