Von der Leyen emphasized that this week will be decisive for the fate of Ukraine. He highly appreciated the actions of the USA in this regard and reminded that it is necessary to move forward on the path to ending the war.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed hope for a renewal of diplomatic relations between the US and the European Union through a dialogue in Rome.


"Relations between Europe and the United States are a key factor in maintaining Western unity," said Meloni.
