Former US President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer. The New York Times reported this, citing the president's press secretary.
It was reported that during a medical examination on Friday, May 16, doctors discovered a small nodule in Joe Biden's prostate. This necessitated further investigations.
According to NBC News, the identified cancer metastasized to the bones, meaning the cancer cells spread to other locations.
Nevertheless, according to the press secretary, this type of cancer is hormone-sensitive, and there are effective ways to treat it. Currently, Biden and his family are studying treatment options together with doctors.
