In the Bektemir district of Tashkent city, one person died as a result of a road traffic accident involving an electric bus. This was reported by "Toshshahartranskhizmat" JSC.
According to the report, the incident occurred on June 6 at around 1:40 PM in the area of the "Kuyliq Dehqon Bozori" stop. The driver of a Yutong electric bus, operating on route No. 45, ran over a pedestrian born in 1991 while reversing the vehicle.
As a result, the citizen sustained severe bodily injuries and died at the scene.
Currently, responsible officers of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department are conducting pre-investigation checks regarding the situation.
