According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night leading to May 21, Ukraine launched over 150 drones targeting several regions across Russia. This was reported by the news outlet “Meduza.”
The majority of the drones were reportedly shot down by air defense forces in the Oryol (53), Bryansk (51), and Kursk (37) regions.
In addition, the Moscow region, as well as Vladimir, Ryazan, Belgorod, Tula, and Kaluga regions, along with the Black Sea area, were also targeted.
Following the attacks, temporary restrictions were introduced at the airports in Yaroslavl, Kostroma, and Kaluga. The restrictions in Kaluga have already been lifted.
According to officials, no casualties or major damages were recorded in the Oryol region. However, residents of the town of Bolkhov reported on Telegram that some facilities were damaged.
Some Ukrainian sources claim that the drones targeted a semiconductor plant in Bolkhov.
However, this information has not been independently confirmed.
