Pakistani military launched rocket strikes on an area in eastern Afghanistan. As a result of the attack, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
According to Hasht e Subh Daily, the strikes targeted areas around the center of Kunar province as well as residential houses. Reports indicate that as a result of the incident, one person was killed and 16 people were injured.
According to Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesperson for the Taliban interim government, the majority of the injured are women and children. He stated that on March 29, around 17:00, Pakistani military struck the area again with heavy weapons.
