The SU1871 flight operating from Tashkent to Moscow was forced to land in Kazan on May 28 due to a drone attack. Passengers report they were not allowed to leave the aircraft for 4 hours. This was reported by the “Carefully News” Telegram channel here.
According to the information, due to the closure of airports in Moscow, the plane that took off from Tashkent at 03:00 AM was redirected to Kazan. Since 04:55 AM, passengers have remained on the plane; they were neither given information about a flight to Moscow nor permitted to disembark.
No refreshments were provided, information about the flight is not being shared! Although the airspace has already reopened. Two hours ago, we were informed that they intended to let us off the plane in Kazan, then we were told to wait again for the decision of (“Aeroflot”) company, say the passengers.
Subsequently, passengers were informed that no flight was scheduled for the next 12 hours, “the crew's shift had ended and Kazan airport was not accepting planes.” According to the employees of “Aeroflot” airline company, the airport is overloaded and not granting permission to land.

Due to the drone attacks that continued throughout the night and into the morning of May 28, hundreds of flights at Moscow airports were delayed. Starting from midnight, Vnukovo had 64 departures and 74 arrivals delayed.
Some of the planes headed to Vnukovo were later redirected to Sheremetyevo, which had restricted operational capacity, while others were sent to Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg. The latter served as a backup field and accepted 14 flights overnight.
In Domodedovo, approximately 30 departures and 39 arrivals were delayed or canceled, in Sheremetyevo more than 60 departures and 23 arrivals, and in Zhukovsky, two departures and six arrivals were affected. According to “Rosaviation”, restrictions at the capital's airports were lifted at 9:15 AM Tashkent time.
