A 2-year-old girl died after falling into a ditch due to lack of supervision at a private kindergarten in the Qamashi district of Kashkadarya region died.
This incident occurred at a private kindergarten in the Qamashi district on May 20th. The deceased’s mother stated that parents had warned about the dangers due to a ditch being present when the kindergarten was opened, but the kindergarten administration had assured that safety measures would be taken.
"On May 20th, as always, I took my daughter to the kindergarten. My father-in-law came and told me that something was wrong with my daughter, so he took me to her. When I arrived, my daughter had passed away, lying on the ground, her body cold. They had covered my child under a tree.
I trusted them with my child, why be so negligent. It has been 3 days and the kindergarten is still operating. I demand that they be held strictly accountable," says the mother of the girl.
In her statement, a kindergarten worker mentioned that half of the children were taken to a room for a nap, while the others remained in the courtyard. One of them, the deceased girl, was left unsupervised and consequently went out to the street and fell into a ditch surrounding the kindergarten, leading to her death.
