Today, on June 10th, a shooting occurred at a school in Graz, the southeast of Austria. As a result, at least 8 people were killed, and several were injured. This was reported by “Kronen Zeitung” here.

Initial reports indicate that the attacker was also killed. According to “Kurier”, he was a student of the school and committed suicide. The student opened fire in two classrooms. “Kronen Zeitung” says he was a victim of violence.

The police of Styria, with its capital in Graz, announced that an operation was conducted at the Federal Upper Secondary School-Gymnasium (BORG) in Dreiherschützengasse. Gunshots were heard inside the building. The operation involved “Cobra” special forces and a helicopter.

The situation at the school is now safe, and the people there have been evacuated.
