Enrollment for the 1st grade for the 2025-2026 academic year in Uzbekistan will start from June 20th of this year. This was announced by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, Hilola Umarova.
It is noted that according to the regulations, the enrollment process for the 1st grade will be carried out in 2 stages:
- 1st stage: From June 20 to July 31 within the micro-district;
- 2nd stage: From August 1 to August 15 outside the micro-district.
The enrollment processes for the 1st grade in districts (cities) will be carried out electronically through government services. From June 20, parents can register and submit applications through the my.maktab.uz electronic platform.
“Dear parents, please get acquainted with the video tutorial, where you can learn how to identify the school assigned to you through the my.maktab.uz platform,” says the report.
In areas where state services are not provided, students enrolled in the 1st grade will be entered into the ministry's electronic system (adm.maktab.uz).
It is worth mentioning that according to the "Education Law," children are admitted to school in the year they turn 7. This year, children born before December 31, 2018, will be admitted to the 1st grade.
