President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sharply commented on the conflict between Israel and Iran, stating that their conflict could also affect the region. This was discussed during a video conference meeting on the effectiveness of reforms being carried out under the leadership of the head of state, the progress of work in the regions, and finding solutions to issues concerning the population.
“The flame of conflict that flared up again in the world yesterday will inevitably affect not only the Middle East but also our region. If the escalation continues, trade relations and logistic routes that are just beginning to recover after the pandemic will face difficulties,” — says the leader of Uzbekistan.
Moreover, the President emphasized that every “seat holder” in office should take the initiative and start working without waiting for instructions.
“Therefore, every governor in their territory, and ministers in their sectors, must foresee opportunities and threats in advance and move towards proactive, i.e., taking the initiative without waiting for orders,” — added the President.
In addition, the head of state noted that in the past five months, the country's industry has grown by 6.4 percent, exports by 18 percent, and foreign investments by 46 percent, highlighting that more than 2,500 new facilities worth 3 billion dollars have been launched. He also touched upon the point that 2.4 million people have become income earners.
“The need for peace, justice, and honoring human dignity is growing more than ever. Therefore, every governor in their territory, and ministers in their sectors, must foresee opportunities and threats in advance and move towards proactive, i.e., taking the initiative without waiting for orders.
Most importantly, intensifying communication with the population and business and quickly addressing their concerns is a crucial duty of leaders,” — stated the head of our state.
