A man living in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India (name withheld) found a valuable stone — a diamond while working in the field. This was reported by The Times of India here.

He made a profit of 150,000 rupees (approximately 22 million UZS) from selling the diamond.

According to the report, the precious stone surfaced after heavy rains washed away the soil.

It should be noted that after the fortunate farmer's story became popular, his village Kurnool was overrun by treasure hunters.

"Many are coming as entire families to search for diamonds, bringing their food with them, and wandering the fields for hours," — wrote The Times of India.

Experts note that such finds are rare in Kurnool, and not everyone is lucky.
