Singer Farrukh Hamroev was fined for using the poet's work without permission. The Ministry of Justice's press service reported this.

It was revealed that the singer had used the poem "Come mother, let's go to the Hajj" by the Fergana poet Ismoiljon Babaev without the author's permission.

The case was documented under article 177¹ of the Administrative Responsibility Code, and sent to the Yakkasaroy District Court of Tashkent city for criminal matters.

In court, the singer was found to have violated the law, and a fine was imposed according to the charged article. 

For your information, according to Uzbekistan's legislation, the author is entitled to demand compensation ranging from 20 to 1000 times the base calculation unit from the violator.
