From June 30, regular direct flights are planned to be established between the capitals of Uzbekistan and Jordan — Tashkent and Amman. The Dunyo news agency reported this.
On the occasion of the opening of the new air route, a presentation of Uzbekistan's tourism potential was held in Jordan. It was attended by representatives of the tourism sector, major tour operators, leaders of the hotel business, and the management of Royal Jordanian Airlines.
During the presentation, information was provided about Uzbekistan's pilgrimage tourism opportunities, holy sites related to Islamic civilization, and the legacy of great scholars.
The first regular flight will be operated on June 30. According to the schedule, Royal Jordanian Airlines' flight RJ196 will depart from Amman at 22:50 local time and will land at Tashkent International Airport at 05:25 the next day.
The parties also reached an agreement on expanding cooperation in the tourism sector, increasing business missions and B2B meetings, as well as jointly promoting the tourism opportunities of the two countries.
