A video depicting the body of a middle-aged woman covered in blood lying in Andijan region has been circulated on social networks.
According to unofficial sources, the incident was observed in the 3rd microdistrict of Andijan city.
However, it has not been disclosed whether the woman fell from the top of a multi-story building or if she was deliberately murdered.
Darakchi.uz contacted the Prosecutor General's spokesperson Hayot Shamsutdinov for clarification on the situation.
According to him, the incident occurred in the city of Andijan. A domestic dispute led to a man deliberately killing his wife and then fleeing the scene.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Premeditated murder).
Also, efforts are being made to locate the citizen.
