Hilola Umarovna Umarova has been relieved of her position as Minister of Preschool and School Education and appointed as the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform. This was announced by the President's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
It is noted that Umarova's appointment to this position was carried out by the relevant decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
For reference, Hilola Umarova was born in 1988 in Weimar, Germany. She graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Her specialization is foreign economic activity.
She has previously worked as the director of the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Specialized School of Information and Communication Technologies, the general manager of INHA University, the director of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative, and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers. Umarova was appointed Minister of Preschool and School Education by decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in late 2022.
