On the night of July 17, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the country did not allow the division of Syria and still does not allow it. This was reported by Anadolu.

It was noted that a Cabinet meeting took place in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with the participation of the President. During the meeting, Erdoğan addressed the situation in the region, particularly in Syria.

"Turkey did not allow the division of Syria and will not allow it. Those who, led by Israel, have fallen into the pit will sooner or later realize the grave mistake they have made," said the Turkish leader.

The President also stated that Israel is "a lawless, unprincipled, reckless, and hopeless terrorist state." Under the pretext of the Druze, it has moved military forces into Syria in the last two days. The head of state emphasized that the greatest threat in the region right now is Israel's aggression.

"The Kurds in our country and the Kurds in Syria are our brothers. We will not allow them to become puppets in the hands of the Zionists," the President added.
