Czech President Petr Pavel has signed a new law prohibiting the promotion, creation, or support of communist ideology in the country.
Now, such actions can be punished with up to 5 years of imprisonment.
According to the law, the use of communist symbols, justifying the oppressive regime, or promoting its ideas in public will be considered a criminal offense.
It is emphasized that this initiative is aimed at further strengthening the Czech Republic's uncompromising stance against totalitarian regimes.
