A tax official in Gurlen district of Khorezm region deceived citizens and demanded money. This was reported by the information service of the Dakhavat security service.
According to reports, the chief specialist of the district's "Tax Service" state unitary enterprise exploited his position and, through acquaintances in tax offices, told two local citizens that despite never having worked anywhere before, he would officially calculate their salaries for the period from January to June 2025 and prepare the relevant documentation for them.
"Later, the specialist was caught red-handed while taking 12 million 500 thousand soums in exchange for his services," the report states.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the official, and investigative actions are being carried out.
