A prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine has taken place. This was reported by the publication "DW".
It is noted that as part of the prisoner exchange, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces, National Guard personnel, border guards, and civilians have been returned to Ukraine from Russia.
Among them are journalists Dmitry Khilyuk and Mark Kalyush, who were illegally detained in 2022-2023.
Additionally, the former mayor of Kherson, Vladimir Nikolayenko, who was abducted in April 2022, has also been released. According to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the exchange was carried out on a "146 for 146" basis.
