According to data from the State Statistics Committee, 19 million 136 thousand 800 of the population are men, and 18 million 863 thousand 200 are women.
Thus, the number of men is 273 thousand 600 more than the number of women, with men comprising 50.36 percent and women comprising 49.64 percent of the total population.
