A festive event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of our country's independence is taking place in the "New Uzbekistan" garden. This was reported by the head of the president's press service.
It was reported that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke at the ceremony. The head of state congratulated the multi-ethnic people and compatriots abroad on the Independence Day.
"Thanks to the large-scale reforms we have begun based on the idea of 'New Uzbekistan', every compatriot deeply feels the rights and freedoms granted by independence in their own lives and is widely using these opportunities.
It is precisely on the basis of this great idea that we have once again realized our three-thousand-year-old rich history and culture.
We are developing the traditions of the First and Second Renaissance on our native land and taking confident practical steps towards the Third Renaissance.
I am fully confident that on this path, the state of New Uzbekistan and the society of New Uzbekistan will serve as a strong bridge connecting our great history with a new, even higher period of Awakening," said the President.
