According to the Palov Index announced by the Statistics Agency, the price of products needed to cook palov was generally stable across Uzbekistan in August 2025.
Prices decreased by up to 0.27 percent in 10 regions, including the city of Tashkent.
The stabilization of prices was influenced by a decrease in the price of meat in some regions and a decrease in the price of rice and oil in others.
According to the data, the most expensive meat for palov is in Fergana — 109,520 soum, the most expensive rice is in Surkhandarya — 23,284 soum, and the most expensive oil is in the city of Tashkent — 24,199 soum.
