The military parade held in Beijing, China on September 3 was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Japan's capitulation in World War II.

The parade featured over 10,000 military personnel, hundreds of modern military equipment, including nuclear missiles, drones, tanks, and aircraft.

The grand ceremony was attended by PRC President Xi Jinping, along with Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. This was the first time these three leaders were seen together in public. More than 20 other state leaders also visited Beijing, however, many Western diplomats did not participate in the event.

Prior to the parade, U.S. President Donald Trump, in a post on Truth Social, accused this trio of conspiring against the U.S.:

"Give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, as you are conspiring against the U.S.A.," he wrote.

Trump also reminded of the historical assistance provided by the U.S. to China and described today's geopolitical reality as a "betrayal of loyalty."
