An Uzbek man who raped a 14-year-old girl in Kazakhstan was sentenced to life imprisonment.

A 35-year-old man in the Turkistan region was found guilty of sexually assaulting an 8th-grade male student.

In the Turkistan region of Kazakhstan, a court found a 35-year-old Uzbek citizen guilty of raping an underage girl and sentenced him to life imprisonment. According to local media reports, the crime was committed in mid-2024.

Court documents indicate that the man, who had come to Kazakhstan for construction work, sexually assaulted his 14-year-old neighbor, a resident of the Keles district, on several occasions. 

During the trial, he did not admit his guilt, but the prosecutor demanded a life sentence, and this demand was satisfied.

According to the ruling of the specialized criminal court of the Turkistan region, he was found guilty under Part 4 of Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan (repeated rape) and sentenced to life imprisonment.
