On September 4, five workers died in a central sewage pipe in the "Bogidasht" village of the Bukhara region.

They fell into the pipe while connecting the sewage system of newly constructed multi-story buildings without observing safety measures.

As a result of the incident, the bodies of 3 workers were found, and the remaining 2 citizens are still being searched for.

The incident occurred as a result of a crane operator, belonging to the "Central Asia Construction" LLC, unlawfully opening the lid of a pipe with a diameter of 1 meter at a depth of 8 meters. Due to a strong current, the workers were swept away by the wastewater.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and preliminary investigative actions are being carried out.
