In Uzbekistan, wages, pensions, allowances, and scholarships will be increased.

The President's decree "On increasing the amounts of salaries, pensions, stipends, and allowances" has been adopted.

In accordance with the decree, from July 1, 2026, pensions, allowances, as well as child benefits and material assistance paid to families included in the Social Register, will be increased by 7 percent.

Subsequently, the minimum old-age pension will amount to 983 thousand soums per month. The minimum disability pension will be raised to 1 million 83 thousand soums. The base amount for calculating pensions will be set at 504 thousand soums.

Child benefits for families included in the Social Register will also be increased. In particular, 386 thousand soums per month will be paid for one child under 3 years of age, and 295 thousand soums for one child aged 3 to 18. An additional 177 thousand soums will be allocated for the second child, and an additional 118 thousand soums for the third and each subsequent child. The monthly amount of material assistance will be set at 450 thousand soums.

Also, from September 1, 2026, the salaries of employees of budget organizations and student scholarships will be increased by 7 percent.

According to the decree, from that date, the minimum wage will be set at 1 million 360 thousand soums per month, and the base calculation amount will be 440 thousand soums.

The costs associated with implementing this decision will be covered from the state budget and the funds of the Extra-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
