According to her, today more than 1.5 million students are studying in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan. Notably, more than half of them are girls.
Saida Mirziyoyeva assessed these results as the effect of the large-scale reforms being implemented in the education sector in the country in recent years.
“Our girls are studying, researching, and working on themselves. Most importantly, their self-confidence and enthusiasm are increasing day by day. An educated girl can change not only her own life but also the future of her family, the environment around her, and the entire country”, she said.
Also, the head of the Presidential Administration emphasized that education gives a person the opportunity to choose an independent path in life, and noted that the opportunities being created for girls to gain knowledge are of great importance.
“Let's give our girls the opportunity to take bold steps towards their dreams”, says Saida Mirziyoyeva.
