According to Good News Networking, the victim was found quickly due to a phone that made a continuous 22-minute emergency call. Although the girl had broken both her leg bones, pelvic bone, and vertebrae, she survived.

The victim's mother called the incident a "miracle," emphasizing that it would have been difficult for her daughter to survive had the feature not been used.

Owners of iPhone 14 and later models can turn off the "Crash Detection" feature in the "Emergency SOS" section of the "Settings" menu.
