A citizen living in the capital appealed to the internal affairs authorities that 19 million soums had been withdrawn from a bank card. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city DIA.

As a result of the operational-search activities carried out on the basis of the appeal, the suspect—an individual named Murad living in the Chilanzar district—was detained.

A case has now been initiated against him under the "Theft" article of the Criminal Code. According to its third part, such a crime is punishable by up to 8 years of imprisonment.

Investigative and operational activities are ongoing—the suspect's possible involvement in other crimes is also being investigated.
