Individuals involved in the sale of narcotics were apprehended during operational activities conducted in the Fergana and Khorezm regions. This was reported by the State Security Service.
According to the report, in a joint operation by the Fergana regional department of the SSS and internal affairs officers, a vehicle of the Cobalt model traveling on the "Margilan – Buvaida" route was stopped in the Buvaida district.
During a search of the vehicle in the presence of witnesses, 1 kilogram and 187 grams of the narcotic "hashish" were found on a passenger, a resident of the Kushtepa district, and seized as physical evidence.
In another case, an operational activity was carried out in the city of Urganch by the Khorezm regional department of the SSS, in cooperation with internal affairs and customs authorities.
During the operation, a total of 620 grams of "hashish" and 297 grams of "mephedrone" were seized as physical evidence from a person born in 1995, previously convicted, and from the dwelling where he was temporarily residing.
According to preliminary data, these narcotic substances were smuggled in from the Russian Federation.
Criminal cases have been initiated regarding both incidents, and investigative actions are being carried out. Legal measures will be taken against the offenders in accordance with the procedure established by law.
