The President of Uzbekistan met with representatives of the education sector on the occasion of Teachers and Mentors Day. The head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, announced this on her social media page.
It was noted that dedicated teachers were awarded state awards at the event. In addition, a number of support measures for teachers were announced.
These include assistance with mortgage loans, coverage of 30% of their children's contract tuition fees, preferential loans for purchasing computer equipment, as well as educational loans for admission to the world's TOP-300 universities.
As the President emphasized, the teaching profession is increasingly becoming a prestigious and well-paid occupation in society.
