North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally observed the test process of a new type of drone developed by an association for developing unmanned aerial vehicles. During the tests, the combat use of strategic and tactical reconnaissance, as well as multi-purpose drones, was tested.
According to official information, the tactical attack drones of the "Geumsong" series demonstrated high performance. Kim Jong Un, speaking about the place of drones in modern warfare, emphasized the need to vigorously develop artificial intelligence and operational capabilities.
Earlier, North Korea also tested a rocket engine made of reinforced composite material and running on solid fuel. That test was also personally observed by Kim Jong Un.
