In Andijan region, a person who promised to provide 10 sotikh of land from the balance of the "Norin-Qoradaryo" irrigation systems basin administration has been detained. The information service of the General Prosecutor's Office reported this.
According to the report, during an operational event conducted by the Shahrikhan district department of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office and employees of the SSS, citizen M.A., having gained the trust of citizen S.T., allegedly promised to prepare cadastral documents for 10 sotikh of land, supposedly as an unregistered plot from the balance of the "Norin-Qoradaryo" irrigation systems basin administration in Shahrikhan district, through acquaintances working in the cadastre department, for conducting entrepreneurial activity and constructing an additional facility, in exchange for $32,000 USD. He was caught red-handed with material evidence while receiving $18,000 USD of this amount.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out, the report says.
