President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for New York City on a working visit on September 20 to participate in the events of the 80th anniversary session of the United Nations General Assembly (link in Uzbek).
The head of our state will deliver a speech on the first day of the general debate of the General Assembly plenary session and will hold talks with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and leaders of a number of foreign states and governments.
Meetings with leaders of influential international financial institutions, as well as events with the participation of leading US companies and investment structures, are also planned within the framework of the summit.
