An 18-year-old girl fell from an attraction and died in a recreation park in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Turmush.kg.
The incident occurred on September 21 in the park named after Alisher Navoi. One of the three friends fell while they were riding an attraction called "Kayikcha" (Boat). Emergency personnel arrived at the scene. However, they determined that the girl was not breathing and had died.
The Osh City Department of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident. All details of the case are being established. According to law enforcement agencies, the deceased was a girl born in 2007 who lived in the Karasu district of Osh region.
At a meeting held in April 2025, it was stated that the attractions in the recreation park named after Alisher Navoi were operating without undergoing the required technical diagnostics, laboratory tests, and technical inspections. Furthermore, the responsible staff servicing the attractions did not have the certificates confirming they had undergone special training or sanitation record books.
