A video has been circulating on social media showing a Gentra driver hitting a young girl in Samarkand region and fleeing the scene. The Regional Department of Traffic Safety has provided information regarding the incident.
It was determined that on September 24 of this year at 19:00, on Panjikent Street in the Samarkand district, a Gentra driver, moving at high speed in the oncoming lane, hit a 15-year-old pedestrian and fled the scene of the incident.
As a result of search operations conducted by the Regional Department of Traffic Safety, the driver and his car were found in a workshop.
It was reported that legal documents have been formalized regarding this driver, and explanatory procedures are being carried out.
