According to Axios, after Hamas conditionally accepted Trump's peace proposal for Gaza, the US president described the situation as a "victory."

He then spoke on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, Trump was offended by Netanyahu's cautious and cold response and sharply retorted to him:

"Why are you always so negative? Just accept it, that's it!"
