Uzbekistan's shotokan karatekas won 33 medals at the World Championships in Tokyo.

The competition was attended by about 600 athletes from more than 30 countries.

The World Shotokan Karate-do Championship was held in Tokyo, Japan. Nearly 600 athletes from more than 30 countries participated in the competition.

The Uzbekistan national team successfully participated in the championship, winning 15 gold, 9 silver, and 9 bronze medals.

Furthermore, the national team's head coach, Khojamqul Khojaqulov, was awarded an 8th DAN black belt certificate by the executive committee of the World Shotokan Karate-do Federation. Seven of our karatekas received 1st DAN black belts.
