More than 30 children were mass poisoned by food at 4 preschool educational institutions located in the Forish district of the Jizzakh region. This was reported by the press service of the district government.

It is reported that on October 9, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 37 pupils aged 3 to 7 from state preschool educational institutions No. 1, 3, 5, and 7, which are under the department of preschool and school education of the Forish district, sought help from the district medical association with complaints of fever, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weakness.

During the epidemiological investigation conducted by doctors, it was determined that the children who sought help had consumed products such as biokefir, cheese, and butter in the preschool educational institutions on October 8. Based on anamnesis and initial examinations, they were diagnosed with "acute diarrhea" and were provided with inpatient medical care.

It has been established that, according to the initial conclusion of the Jizzakh Regional Department of Sanitary Epidemiology, Public Peace and Public Health, the mass poisoning in state preschool educational institutions No. 1, 3, 5, and 7 in the district occurred due to violations of sanitary rules and norms in the processes of transporting, storing, and processing food products.

It is reported that regarding this situation, the Forish District Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 205 (Abuse of authority or official powers) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
