Enzo Maresca was sent off for emotionally celebrating his team's goal in the Liverpool vs. Chelsea match from the 7th round of the English Premier League. This was reported by The Independent.

His action was deemed misconduct by the referee at the end of the game, and the Italian coach was fined £8,000 and given a one-match disqualification.

According to this decision, Maresca will not be able to manage the team in Chelsea's next Premier League match against Nottingham Forest. He admitted that, by some accounts, his reaction was "instinctive" and that "a red card was worth it."

For reference, the Chelsea team has received three red cards in recent matches. The club is currently in 7th place in the Premier League table, 5 points behind the leaders Arsenal.
