In Zangiota district of Tashkent region, the illegal circulation of about 5 kilograms of the herbaceous substance "opium" was stopped.
During an urgent operation conducted by the State Security Service in cooperation with the Internal Affairs and Customs authorities, a substance concealed in 10 bundles with a total weight of 4 kg 956 grams was found.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code.
Currently, work is underway to identify the individuals who smuggled this narcotic substance into the country.
